Pfizer Partners with National Urban League at Annual Conference in Orlando Florida
Did you know that Pfizer is committed to building healthy relationships with community-based organizations (CBO’s) in efforts to support minority and faith based organizations?
Through Pfizer’s Worldwide Policy and Public Affairs (WPAP) group Community Health Advocacy (CHA); Pfizer, the National Urban League (NUL), and its 100 affiliates across the country have committed themselves as partners in lessening the gap in health disparities. Together they have addressed issues such as health disparities, access to medicines, prevention and community health at this year’s National Urban League Annual Conference in Orlando Florida on July 30th – August 2nd, 2008.
Pfizer Volunteers Provide Free Diabetes and Blood Pressure Screening for Casa Otoñal Residents
On July 5, 2006, between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM, staff volunteers from the New Haven based Pfizer Clinical Research Unit performed free Diabetes and blood pressure screenings for residents Casa Otoсal's senior housing complex on Sylvan Avenue in New Haven.

CRU Lends a Hand/Habitat for Humanity Oct. 28, 2004
On October 14, 2004, CRU employees volunteered their time at Habitat for Humanity in New Haven, a not-for-profit organization that builds new houses and refurbishes existing ones to be sold with no-interest loans to low-income families. The group of ten employees, supervised by Habitat construction staff, spent the day doing a variety of jobs to turn the renovated house into a welcoming home for a single mother and her two children.

Hill Health Center
A pediatric office suite in the Dixwell Health Center Satellite of New Haven’s Hill Health Corporation received a new coat of paint recently, providing an opportunity for Pfizer colleagues to again demonstrate their sense of community through the generosity of volunteerism.
